Following the success of their debut single ‘It Was’ as ‘Hatjak’, Hatiras and Jaxon return with their next storming release ‘Searchin’! The 12” comes equipped with 4 different mixes: On the ‘Blow’ Side Hatjak serves up the original mix – a song that can best be described as fun-funky-roboey-80’s-house (if that makes any sense to you)! ‘Searchin’ features Jaxon on vocals and Hatiras singing along through the trusty vocoder. The result is an unforgettable song with a catchy vocal hook and chugging beats. Following the long play DJ friendly mix, Hatjak serves up a shorter edit of Searchin’ for the radio heads and anyone else with a slightly, um, how should we say it, shorter attention span (just kidding). The ‘Me’ Side starts off with a more stripped, tribal influenced, hypnotic house mix by Hatiras appropriately called ‘Hatiras’ Green House Mix’. The track, which has been tried and tested during Hatiras sneak peak DJ sets has consistently caused dance-floor commotion! Finally, in true Blow Media Future Retro style Jaxon serves up a heavy full on punk rock mix on the ‘Me’ Side. This mix is not for the lighthearted and may not catch the attention of house music lovers. However, fear not because all fans of screaming guitars and the little punk inside us all is sure to be totally steam-rolled by Jaxon’s ‘Freight Train Rock Mix’.
